The Mel's Hole

I can't sleep T^T  Is really hot here and is virtually impossible sleep without an air conditioner but.... mine doesn't work D:
Well, let's forget the offotpic XD This drawing is based in an urban legend really famous in the 90's : the Mel's hole. This case was known because was described by the protagonist in the Art Bell's show "Coast to Coast"... Talks about a weird hole in the ground he found that appearently has no bottom...According with th story, a lot of people knew the place and used it as their aste disposal because its characteristic of bottomless... but Mel was more interested to know how deep was the site, so, he used a lot of long items to measure the site, never finding the end... until He decided to use an animal (In some stories is a  dog, in other is a sheep... I used a goat's skull in the drawing because is more intimidating ) and after an initial horror because something was dragging the animal more inside, they rescued something that resembled the animal... seen by inside O.o  Is supposed that the creature was more than grotesque, but to make  grand finale,  the creature was pregnant. they decided to throw the animal to the wheel and the goverment bougth Mel's property, forcing Him to run and destroying the hole...

The truth behind the story is that the "$%$Q%# hole never existed... The place in Manastash Ridge,at 30Km of Ellensburg, Washington, actually has a hole, but was caused by a fountainhead and has a bottom   But during a lot of time, since 1997, the place was very famous, more because then Google Earth didin't exist, and sites as TerraServer was not so specific as Google's... (Yeah, Google censors some places, but not holes in the ground XD)

No puedo dormir T^T Hace mucho calor por acá y no tengo clima en este momento D:
Bueno, olvidemos el offtopic XD Este dibujo se basa en una leyenda urbana muy famosa en los 90s: el hoyo de Mel (Sin albur) . Este caso fue conocido debido a que fue descrito por su protagonista en el show de Art Bell "Costa a costa" (Equivalente gringo a "La Mano Peluda"...un dia de estos haré algo relativo a ese show...)... Hablando sobre un extraño agujero en el suelo que al parecer no tenía fondo... De acuerdo con la historia, un montón de gente conocía el lugar y lo usaban como vertedero de basura debido a su condición de sin fondo.. Pero Mel quería  más que nada conocer la profuncdad del pocito, así que usó un montonal de cosas para medir el lugar, jamás hallando el final... Hasta que decidió usar a un animal ( No he oido el programa de radio completo y se dice que fue un perro o un borrego... como sea yo usé un cráneo de cabra porque da mas miedo ) Y luego del horror inicial que sintieron cuando el animal fue jalado hacia el fondo por algo, lo que rescataron era una cosa que se parecía al animal... visto desde adentro O.o Se supone que la criatura era más que grotesca y para mayor inri, estaba preñada. Decidieron tirar al bicho de vuelta al pozo, el gobierno compró las propiedades de Mel y lo obligaron a huir, destruyendo el agujero...

La verdad detrás de la historia es que el 3%"&%#$ hoyo jamás existió... Es lugar en Manastash Ridge,a 30Km de Ellensburg, Washington, en realidad si tiene un hoyo,pero fue causado por un manantial subterráneo y tiene fondo   Pero durante un tiempo, desde 1997, el lugar fue bastante famoso, porque entonces google Earth no existía y sitios como TErraServer no eran tan específicas como google... (sí, google censura lugares, pero no hoyos en la tierra XD)
